Six nights is probably enough at an unofficial boondocking site.
Thanks for all the compliments on the photography - I sure had a lot to work with. Our little point and shoot Sony Cyber-Shot is a good camera and helps to make me look somewhat pro-ish - which I'm not, but try to pretend to be. I really enjoy photography.
Not much new to report but I thought I would leave these last desert photos with you from yesterday, while we are carrying on to our next destination.
We are just parked at the restaurant for a minute so not much time.
We collected some porous rock to cook our frozen pizza on the weber - it worked out great!
Cassia - back at her 'mountain'.
What can I say - I love taking pics of the barrel cactus!
See you down the road!
Teresa

ReplyDeleteSafe Travels............
Thanks BlackSheep. We can't either!
DeletePizza stone...by George what a great idea. Rufus...I always leave him out but looks like a sweetie...how old? We spent entire day at beach..only 65F but laid out on blanket with book, chair viewing, dug for shells, snacks and finished with lager at the Pink Pony and hot shower with coconut scrub down...in heaven. But to climbs some rocks with you...I'd of that! Come back east to AL...warm up soon :)
ReplyDeleteYup - Derek was really on that one. Rufus - ha! He gets enough attention - trust us! He's a traffic stopper. Rufus is 2 months older than Cassia - March 22. We had his parents both from the SPCA - the mom was SUPPOSED to be fixed. Nope. We had the 6 husky pups - 3 girls, 3 boys. If you can believe, Rufus was the runt and the least Husky like - all the others were chosen first. Derek's sister has Rufus's sister - she is black and white with the blue eyes like their mom.
DeleteMaybe we'll cross paths next year.
How far west are you headed?
ReplyDeleteHi Leigh. Probably just to western New Mexico this year. We were going to tour eastern Arizona but probably not. We are going to take a good look around NM before we head up to western Colorado. I see you are north of Yuma….. We've done western Arizona so much we need a few years break from the area.
